Erie SeaWolves News Release

The SeaWolves annual Hot Stove Dinner featuring Curtis Granderson is set for January 24th at the Avalon Hotel. The cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and a lavish dinner follows at 7 p.m.

Individual tickets are on sale now for just $35 or fans can also purchase a table of eight tickets at a discounted rate for $240!

The event will be hosted by Jim LeCorchick and joining Granderson at the head table will be SeaWolves GM John Frey along with special guests Detroit Tigers Roving Pitching Instructor Jon Matlack and Mandalay Sports Entertainment VP of Development Rich Neumann.

Mr. Matlack enjoyed a 13 year Major League career with the Mets and Rangers. He was rookie of the year in 1972 and a three-time All-Star. In the post-season, Matlack pitched a two-hit shutout in the 1973 NCLS versus the Reds, and had a 2.16 ERA in 3 World Series appearances of that year against Oakland.

Meet and greet Curtis Granderson, Jon Matlack, and more at the SeaWolves Hot Stove Dinner. We look forward to seeing you at the Avalon Wednesday night. It might be cold outside, but baseball will be heating up with the SeaWolves "Hot Stove" banquet. For more information or to purchase tickets for the event, contact the SeaWolves at (814) 456-1300.
