
Angel City Football Club Forward Christen Press Sustains Season-Ending Knee Injury

Angel City FC News Release
LOS ANGELES - Today, Angel City Football Club (ACFC) confirmed that forward Christen Press tore her right ACL and has been placed on the season-ending injury list. The injury was sustained on Saturday, June 11 against Racing Louisville at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville.
Prior to the injury, Press scored the team's first goal of the night and assisted on the second goal by Savannah McCaskill.
Statement from Head Coach Freya Coombe:
"We are gutted that Christen has experienced this injury. She has been incredible on and off the field for us this year. The team, our staff, and the whole Angel City organization are here to fully support Christen during her recovery and return to the pitch."
