MISSOULA, Mont. - The Arizona Diamondbacks have announced that pitcher Andrew Chafin (2011) will start the first game of today's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. Chafin was promoted from Triple-A Reno on August 8.

It will be a homecoming start for the suburban Dayton native and former Kent State Golden Flash. Chafin was selected with the 43rd overall pick in the 2011 Draft. Chafin joined the O's along with Archie Bradley during Missoula's 2011 playoff push.

The hurler went 4-1 with a 1.96 ERA in 55 innings for Double-A Mobile this summer and earned Southern League All-Star honors. He pitched nearly 77 innings in Reno.

The Osprey play tonight at Ogren Park Allegiance Field during a seven-game homestand. Tickets for all Osprey games are available at the MSO Hub Box Office, by phone at (406) 543-3300 and online at MissoulaOsprey.com.
