Andrelczyk Returns to Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Florida Marlins have announced a pair of roster moves that affects their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns prior to this afternoon's game against the Carolina Mudcats at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

Right-handed reliever Peter Andrelczyk returns to the Suns, as he has been transferred from Triple-A New Orleans to Jacksonville. In three games with the Zephyrs, Andrelczyk was 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in three relief appearances. Andrelczyk began 2011 with the Suns, where he went 4-2 with a 3.64 ERA in 15 games and one start.

In a corresponding move, right-handed reliever Kyle Kaminska has been transferred from Jacksonville to High-A Jupiter. Kaminska made two relief appearances with the Suns, posting a 2.25 ERA in four innings on the mound without a decision.

The Suns roster now stands at 24, and a revised roster has been attached.

The Suns and Mudcats will play the third game of the series this afternoon at the Baseball Grounds. Right-hander Dallas Trahern (1-1, 4.91 ERA) will start for Jacksonville while Carolina will start right-hander Kyle McCulloch (1-2, 5.84 ERA). First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m., and fans can listen to the game beginning at 12:50 p.m. on with the U.F. & Shands Pregame Show on www.jaxsuns.com.
