Anderson Cup to be Presented on Friday

(Green Bay, WI) On Friday, March 30th the Anderson Cup will be presented to the 2011-12 Green Bay Gamblers prior to their game at the Resch Center verse the Youngstown Phantoms. The Anderson Cup is given annually to the team that posts the best regular season record in the 16-team United States Hockey League.
The Gamblers currently holds a 42-8-3 record (87 points) with seven games remaining. Finishing with the most points in the regular season also guarantees home-ice advantage for the Gamblers throughout the Clark Cup Playoffs.
It is the third time in the past four years that the Gamblers have captured the Anderson Cup and the fifth time in team history they have earned the regular season title.
Along with the Anderson Cup presentation it is also a Festival Foods Family Night, as hot dogs and soda are just $1.00 and children 14 and under can receive $5 off a $13.00 to $17.00 ticket. For tickets call the Resch Center box office at 494-3401 or go online to www.gamblershockey.com.
