
Anaheim Ducks Return Maroon and Loan Guenin

Syracuse, NY (October 18, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have returned on loan left wing Patrick Maroon and loaned defenseman Nate Guenin.
Maroon, 22, has appeared in two games for the Crunch this season, collecting five points (2g, 3a) and two penalty minutes. Acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers early on November 21, 2010, Maroon finished the season as the Crunch's leading point-getter, recording 48 points (21g, 27a) in 57 games with the Crunch.
Maroon had been recalled on October 16, after Jason Blake suffered an injury Friday night in Anaheim. Maroon joined the Ducks for their October 16 and October 17 contests, but did not appear in either game.
Guenin, 28, appeared in 43 games with the Crunch last season recording 12 points (2g, 10a). Before being acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Trevor Smith on January 4, 2011, Guenin played 30 games with the Springfield Falcons contributing five points (0g, 5a).
Guenin, played in two games with Anaheim this season, scoring his first career NHL goal on October 7 against the Buffalo Sabres in Helsinki, Finland.
The Crunch travel to Rochester on Tuesday, October 18 to take on the Amerks and return home on October 21 to face the Lake Erie Monsters at the War Memorial Arena.
