B-Sens Recall Jack Downing and Josh Godfrey from Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled forward Jack Downing and defenseman Josh Godfrey from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Downing, 22, has recorded two assists and seven penalty minutes in two games with Elmira this season.
A native of New Canaan, Conn., Downing completed his fourth and final season of college eligibility in 2010-11 with Hockey East's University of Vermont Catamounts. While serving as assistant captain in his senior season at Vermont, Downing recorded 13 goals, five assists and 49 penalty minutes in 36 games.
Godfrey, 23, has recorded two assists in two games with Elmira this season.
A native of Collingwood, Ont., Godfrey spent the majority of the 2010-11 season with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he tallied 27 points (15 goals, 12 assists) and added 24 penalty minutes in 49 games. He also appeared in seven American Hockey League contests with Hershey and Chicago, recording an assist and adding two penalty minutes.
The Binghamton Senators travel to Norfolk take on the Admirals on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens.
