
Anaheim Arsenal to Host 2008 Draft Party

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2008) - The Anaheim Arsenal announced today that it will team with National Sports Grill & Bar and KLAA AM 830 to host the 2008 NBA Development League Draft Party. The Arsenal will pick eighth in the 10 round NBA D-League draft.
The Draft Party presented by National Sports Grill will be held Friday, November 7 at 4:00 p.m. PST at 450 N. State College Blvd. in Orange. National Sports Grill, an official sponsor of the Anaheim Arsenal, will provide appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages for the event, which is free to all basketball fans.
"We are excited to welcome the Arsenal fan base to our restaurant and look forward to an evening of sports, food, drinks and fun," said National's VP of Operations Rob Beatty.
New Head Coach Sam Vincent and Assistant Coach Paul Mokeski, both former NBA players and coaches, will be calling in the official Arsenal draft picks live from the draft party. Anaheim's dance team, the A-List Girls, and front office staff will also be in attendance giving away prizes throughout the event.
KLAA AM 830 will provide live blow-by-blow coverage of the eighth annual NBA D-League draft. As another official sponsor of the Anaheim Arsenal, KLAA will receive a commemorative draft pick as part of draft night.
Season tickets and special group rates are now on sale for the 2008-09 season. The Arsenal's home opener is set for Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. PST at the Anaheim Convention Center. For more information, please contact a team representative at (714) 635-2255.
