Second Dance Team Auditions Set For 66ers

Tulsa, Okla., October 28, 2008 - Due to the success of the first tryout, the Tulsa 66ers will host a second audition for the 2008-09 66ers Dance Team on Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Bixby High School gymnasium. Women 18 and older can audition to be part of the NBA Development League and the affiliate to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Many celebrity judges from the first tryout will be returning to judge the second audition, including Scotty and Lindsey from K-Hits (106.9 FM) Wylde Wake Up Show. Also at the first audition was Sabrina Ellison, Dance Team Manager/Coordinator for the Thunder.
The team will perform at all 24 home games and make appearances throughout the region. To pre-register, please have an application, waiver, photo and registration fee of $10 to the 66ers front office, located at 8516 E. 101st St., Suite D, Tulsa, OK 74133 by Thursday, Oct. 30, at 5 p.m. Walk up registration is $15 per person, and will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Registration forms are available at tulsa66ers.com, along with details on the audition process and answers to frequently asked questions.
