Ams & Lampson Give to KGH

Kennewick, WA – The Tri-City Americans and Lampson International will be donating $1,486.50 to the KGH Foundation after last Friday night's crowd 2,973 watched the Americans and Seattle Thunderbirds play in the Tri-Cities Coliseum.

The Americans and Lampson International donated 50 cents from every ticket purchased from the event. Both will team up again Friday, February 20th when the Kelowna Rockets and Americans battle in the Coliseum to benefit the KGH Foundation.

"This type of commitment to the community has been a goal of our ownership group from day one to give back to the people that support us," said Americans president Darryl Porter. "We are very pleased to be partnered with Lampson International for this worthy cause."

The Americans return to action at the Tri-Cities Coliseum tomorrow night at 7:05 pm against the Spokane Chiefs. It's Clear Channel Radio Rock The Rink Night presented by Coors Light. All youth and students with ASB cards admitted for just $7. Draft beer is $2. 1,100 tickets remain for Saturday night's game as the two teams remain in a dogfight for first place in the U.S. Division. Spokane has a one point lead over Tri-City heading into tonight's game in Everett.

Sunday, January 18th the Kelowna Rockets visit for the first time this season at 5:05 pm. All fans are invited following Sunday's game to skate with the Americans. Skate rental will be available at a nominal charge.
