Rockets Grab Top Spot

The Canadian Hockey League today announced the BMO Bank of Montreal CHL Top 10 Rankings for the week ending Sunday January 11. The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
The Kelowna Rockets (33-10-3-0) jumped to the top of the rankings this week after posting wins against the Spokane Chiefs, Portland Winter Hawks and Seattle Thunderbirds last week. The Rockets, who will host the MasterCard Memorial Cup in May, lead the Western Hockey League with 70 points in 47 games this season.
The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (33-10-0-1) are the top team in the QMJHL again this week after a 2-1-0-0 week that included win over the Gatineau Olympiques and Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
The London Knights (30-8-1-2) held the top spot in the OHL after a 2-1-0-0 week that included a pair of wins over the Saginaw Spirit.
