
Amerks Sign Goaltender Garrett Bartus to PTO

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed goaltender Garrett Bartus to a professional tryout contract (PTO).
Bartus, 24, appeared in 24 ECHL games with the Evansville IceMen this season, posting a record of 8-9-3-3 with a 3.30 goals-against average, a .902 save percentage and one shutout. He made his professional debut with the ECHL's Greenville Road Warriors during the 2013 postseason following a four-year collegiate career at the University of Connecticut. A native of St. Charles, Illinois, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Bartus finished his career as UConn's all-time leader in wins (40) while posting a 40-58-9 record with a 3.02 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage,
