Amerks Knee Hockey Tournament Set for Saturday, March 31

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today the team will hold a Knee Hockey Tournament at The Blue Cross Arena on Saturday, March 31. The inaugural tournament, which begins at noon, is open to kids ages 6-12.

The tournament will be divided into three separate age groups: Mites (ages 8 and under); Squirts (ages 9 and 10); and Pee Wee (ages 11 and 12). Each team that enters the tournament will be limited to four players per team. Registration is now open at www.amerks.com and will cost $60 per team.

As part of the registration cost, each player that participates in the tournament will receive a free knee hockey stick which they will be able to use in the tournament if they wish, as well as a ticket to that evening's Amerks game as the team hosts the Toronto Marlies at 7:35 p.m. Additional tickets to the game for family and friends of tournament participants are available for just $10.
