Rochester Americans News Release

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Americans and Perry's Ice Cream have teamed up again to bring fans the "Players Pick Perry's" Sweepstakes, which will run from Wednesday, Mar. 21 to Sunday, Apr. 1.

For the third straight year, fans will have the chance to guess the favorite Perry's Ice Cream flavor of different Amerks players by visiting www.amerks.com/perrys. Different player videos will be posted every three days throughout the contest, encouraging fans to guess which Perry's retro quart flavor is their favorite. Anyone who guesses correctly throughout the contest will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a special prize.

"As the official ice cream of the Amerks, we love giving fans the opportunity for an exclusive experience to meet the team over a bowl (or cone!) of our products made right here in Western New York for 100 years," said Marissa Wilson, Communications Manager at Perry's. "This promotion has been both fun and engaging for fans and we look forward to seeing which retro flavor the players pick as their favorites!"

One Grand Prize winner will win a special VIP Amerks Experience. The winning fan and three guests will receive the opportunity to watch the Amerks practice on Tuesday, Apr. 10 at The Blue Cross Arena, receive Amerks apparel, tour the Amerks locker room and enjoy an Ice Cream Social after practice with select Amerks players. In addition, the lucky winner will receive the Ultimate Fan Pack (valued at $128.56), consisting of eight free Perry's Pints, Quarts and Family Size cartons of ice cream (1.5 QTS).

The 1st Prize winner will receive an autographed Amerks jersey and a $25 Fun Pack of Perry's coupons, while the 2nd Prize winner will receive four tickets to the Amerks 2017-18 regular season home finale on Friday, Apr. 13 against the Belleville Senators as well as a $25 Fun pack of Perry's coupons.
