Americans Welcome St. Charles to Allen for the First Time Ever this Weekend

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans welcome the expansion St Charles Chill to Allen Event Center this weekend, for games on Friday night and Sunday afternoon .

The Allen Americans are tied with Rapid City for first place in points with each team at 50 in the Central Hockey League standings. The Americans have picked up at least a point in eleven straight games, with their last regulation loss coming on December 26th, to the Tulsa Oilers.

"We are starting to put it together," said Americans forward Phil Fox, on the Allen Americans Radio show on Wednesday night at Cowboy Chicken in Allen. "We are having fun right now and getting results on the ice. It's been a total team effort" The Americans are 2-0-0 against St Charles this season, with this being the first ever visit to Allen Event Center by the expansion Chill.

On Friday night, the traditional Friday night autographs continue with Greger Hanson, Garrett Klotz, and Tyler Ludwig on the concourse following the game. Look for a special performance during the first intermission by Karate for Kids, as well as the Ereckson Middle School Choir performing the National Anthem before the puck drop. On Sunday, it's Dance and Cheer Day with a special performance by the Americans Junior Ice Angels.
