Tulsa Oilers News Release
TULSA, OK - As another cold front descends upon Oklahoma, the Tulsa Oilers are turning the BOK Center into a tropical paradise.
This Friday, January 24 at 7:35 p.m. the Oilers host the Missouri Mavericks on Magaritaville Tulsa Night presented by River Spirit Casino and Landshark Lager.
The first 1,000 fans (21 and over) will receive free match play vouchers from River Spirit Casino and the first 100 fans get a special Magaritaville prize pack. River Spirit Casino will hand out other promotional items at the doors and all fans are encouraged to stop by the Tulsa Parrothead Club booth where they can pick up a free Landshark Lager hat and a free pair of sunglasses.
Throughout the evening, River Spirit Casino gift baskets will be awarded to the fans wearing the best Magaritaville themed costumes. Fans decked out in hawaiian shirts, flip-flops, straw hats, grass skirts, and other beach attire will have a chance to win the gift baskets that include a $50 gift card to River Spirit Casino.
Last October, officials from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and River Spirit Casino broke ground on the new Magaritaville Resort and Casino. The 335-million dollar expansion is the largest private Arkansas River development in Tulsa's history and is scheduled for completion in 2015. The resort will feature a Magaritaville restaurant, bar, and retail addition as well as a brand new casino floor and 500-room luxury hotel.
Landshark Lager, a product of Budweiser and the Magaritaville Brewing Company, is an island-style lager brewed in America that offers bold taste and crisp refreshment.
The Oilers and Mavericks face off for the sixth meeting of the season as Tulsa concludes its season-long six-game home stand. The Oilers travel to Missouri on Saturday to finish the weekend home-and-home series.
