Fargo-Moorhead 11, Sioux Falls 3
Though the Sioux Falls Canaries scored first, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks quickly recovered and outpaced the Canaries on their way to an 11-3 win. CF Nic Jackson posted a game-high three RBI on a 2-for-4 night and SS Zach Penprase added two RBI with a fourth inning homerun. Penprase's roundtripper was a part of a four-run rally that landed the RedHawks comfortably in the lead.
RF Buddy Sosnoskie also added two RBI. For the Canaries, CF Nick Van Stratten posted two RBI and had both a double and a triple in the contest. Starter Alex Caldera was tabbed as the winner for going six innings and allowing three runs on four hits while striking out seven. The game was delayed in the bottom of the eighth inning for about 20 minutes.
