Pensacola pounded out 13 hits and 11 runs en route to its fourth consecutive victory. Pelicans P Sam Smith picked up his first of the season in the 11-3 win. Five Pelicans batters had two hits and CF Rolando Avila and SS Bo Brown had two RBI apiece to lead the team at the plate. For El Paso, 1B Juan Camacho and CF Kory Drew each had a hit and an RBI. Offensively, the Diablo's had three doubles in the losing effort.

Coastal Bend 3, Shreveport 2

Coastal Bend used a two-run, walk-off single in the ninth inning to get a 3-2 victory over Shreveport. 1B Jeff Ontiveros' single erased the one-run Shreveport lead and gave the Aviators their ninth win of the year. P JR Pickens got the win for the Aviators, improving his record to 3-0 on the season. While Ontiveros was the hero in the ninth, C Stephen Morales also provided some offense for the Aviators going 2-for-4 in the game. Sports LF Al Corbeil drove in both of the team's runs in a 1-for-4 performance.

St. Joe 9, Fort Worth 6

HR: FW-Carlos Adolfo (1); SJ-Ben Thomas (2)

The Blacksnakes put up five runs in the first inning and held on to get the 9-6 win over Fort Worth. St. Joe 1B Ben Thomas homered and drove in two runs as 2B Jake Whitesides had three hits and three RBI to power the Blacksnakes. P Evan Thomas recorded his first victory of the season, pitching 6 1/3 innings and surrendering four earned runs. CF Carlos Adolfo hit a homerun for the Cats; his first of the season. Cats 3B Terence Green pounded out three hits and drove in three runs in the losing effort as well.
