Grand Prairie 8, Newark 5
The Grand Prairie AirHogs shot past the Newak Bear in an interleague game with the help of a seven-run fourth inning. The AirHogs held a one-run lead going in to the fourth but after sending 11 batters to the plate in the fourth they blew the game open. Grand Prairie notched seven runs on just three hits in the inning to take a 8-0 lead. 1B Andres Rodriguez started off the inning with a walk, he scored when CF Kenny Held hit a ground rule double. Rodriguez doubled in a pair of runs later in the inning and had a team high two hits in the game. The Bears fought back with five runs in the sixth and seventh innings but couldn't draw any closer. For Newark, both SS Bridger Hunt and LF Jamar Walton were 3-for-5.
