Pensacola scored three times in the top of the fourth inning en route to a 4-2 road victory. After loading the bases on two singles and a Grand Prairie error, Pensacola used a sacrifice fly off the bat of SS Scott Madsen to take a 1-0 lead. C Dylan Parzyk's double made the score 2-0 Pelicans and a sacrifice fly by CF Sean Gamble pushed the lead to 3-0. 2B Cesar Aranguren contributed with two hits and scored a run as well. Donny Langdon got the win out of the bullpen by allowing just one hit in 3 1/3 innings. Zac Stott gave up just two earned runs in six innings but took the loss. 2B Brandon Carter went 2-for-4 with a RBI for Grand Prairie.

Wichita 5, Sioux Falls 1

Wichita's Brad Davis allowed just one run on three hits while striking out seven in a 5-1 complete game victory over Sioux Falls. While Davis was dominating Canary hitters, the top of Wichita's batting order was leading the way offensively. The Wingnuts number one through three hitters finished the game 5-for-12 with three RBI and three runs scored. Leading 2-0 in the seventh inning Wichita used two hits, a sacrifice fly, and two Canary errors to score three times and put the game away. Sioux Falls had a rough night defensively as they committed six errors. Canaries LF Beau Torbert broke up the shutout in the ninth inning with a solo homerun.

St. Paul 7, El Paso 5

St. Paul completed a three game road sweep of the El Paso Diablos with a 7-5 victory. St. Paul jumped on top early with three runs in the first inning powered by doubles from RF Marcel Longmire and DH Jason Colson. El Paso closed the gap to 3-2 before the Saints scored three more in the fifth inning. 1B Tim Brown drove in a run with a double and Colson added a two run single for a 6-2 Saints lead. Closer Tony Pierce allowed a run in the bottom of the ninth but then recorded the final two outs for his third save. Justin Lord got the win to improve to 3-1 as he struck out four and surrendered two runs on eight hits over seven innings.
