St. Paul 3, Gary SouthShore 2

St. Paul scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Gary SouthShore 3-2. Saints third baseman Ronnie Bourquin doubled in the bottom the seventh to score first baseman Jason Cooper, and moments later center fielder Jonathan Van Every doubled to score Bourquin. Gary SouthShore scored its only two runs in the top of fourth when catcher Craig Maddox hit a two-run single. St. Paul had just four hits and the RailCats had nine. Only one Saint registered multiple hits. Gary SouthShore right fielder Cristain Guerrero had three hits in the game. Matt Long earned his fourth win of the season by allowing seven hits, two runs and striking out six in seven innings pitched.

Winnipeg 9, Kansas City 2

Winnipeg scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning to beat Kansas City 9-2. Shortstop Wes Long singled to center field to open up scoring for the Goldeyes, and Winnipeg had five hits in the inning. Long led Winnipeg with four hits, two runs and three RBI in four at-bats. The Goldeyes tallied 16 total hits, and four different Winnipeg batters registered multiple. Kansas City scored a run in each of the first and second innings, but went scoreless throughout the next seven frames. Second baseman Fernando Garcia was the only T-Bone to have multiple hits, and he scored one of Kansas City's two runs in the second inning. Luis Villarreal, now 2-0 on the season, was credited with the win and allowed five hits, two runs and walked two in 5.2 innings pitched.

Fargo-Moorhead 5, Sioux Falls 4

Fargo-Moorhead scored a pair of runs in each of the sixth and seventh innings and beat Sioux Falls 5-4. The two teams went scoreless through the first four frames, and the Pheasants got on the board first in the bottom of the fifth inning when catcher Henry Contreras hit a solo home run. Fargo-Moorhead right fielder Michael Coles hit a two-run homer in the top of the sixth to take a lead against Sioux Falls, and the RedHawks struck again in the top of the seventh when catcher Kole Zimmerman hit a two-run single. Casey Hoorelbeke earned his first win of the season, allowing four hits and no runs in 2 innings pitched.
