St. Paul 1, Gary SouthShore 0 (Suspended - Top 2)

This game was suspended due to rain with St. Paul leading Gary SouthShore 1-0 in the top of the second inning. The game will be completed as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, June 11 beginning at 5:05 p.m. The completion of the suspended game will go nine innings, while the regularly scheduled game will go seven innings.

Amarillo 7, Fort Worth 3

Amarillo 3B Adam De La Garza doubled twice and led his team with three RBIs as the Sox defeated the Fort Worth Cats 7-3. De La Garza also scored a run. Sox LF Lee Cruz had two hits in four at-bats with an RBI and a run scored, and CF Fehlandt Lentini had one hit in three at-bats with a run scored and an RBI. Amarillo starting pitcher Matt Elliott earned the win, striking out nine hitters and conceding three earned runs in his seven innings pitched. Cats 3B Travis Metcalf went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and two RBIs in a losing effort.

Lincoln 7, Shreveport-Bossier 1

The Saltdogs put four runs on the board in the first inning and never looked back as they powered their way to a 7-1 win against the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. Lincoln RF Curt Smith went 4-for-5 from the plate with two RBIs and four runs scored. Smith belted a solo homerun and also had a triple in the game. Lincoln 2B Joe Ramos had two hits in four at-bats and collected two RBIs. Catcher Robby Alcombrack went 1-for-2 at the plate for the Saltdogs with a run scored and an RBI. Lincoln starter John James was the winning pitcher as he struck out four batters and conceded zero earned runs in his seven innings of work. For the Captains, CF Robert Perry doubled and drove in his team's only run on the night.

Kansas City 6, Winnipeg 5

The Kansas City T-Bones scored two runs in their first at-bat and two runs in their last at-bat to narrowly defeat Winnipeg by a score of 6-5. Kansas City DH Dwayne White belted a solo homer, and SS Jimmy Mojica went 2-for-5 from the plate with an RBI and a run scored. T-Bones C Johnny Bowden had three hits in four at-bats with a run scored. T-Bones starting pitcher Reid Santos earned the win, striking out six hitters and conceding three earned runs in seven innings pitched. For the Goldeyes, CF Kody Kaiser went 2-for-5 at the plate with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Fargo-Moorhead 11, Sioux Falls 6

RedHawks CF Nic Jackson and LF Jason James each had three RBIs as Fargo-Moorhead beat the Sioux Falls Pheasants 11-6. James went 2-for-4 at the plate with a homerun and scored three runs. Jackson went 2-for-4 at the plate and scored one run. Fargo-Moorhead 1B Jim Fasano had two hits in five at-bats, batted in two runs and scored two runs as well. RedHawks pitcher Matt Mossey came on in relief to earn the win, striking out three and allowing just one earned run in three and one-third innings pitched. For Sioux Falls, 3B Trevor Lawhorn went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a losing effort.

Sioux City 8, Wichita 5

Seven Explorers collected an RBI as Sioux City defeated Wichita 8-5. Explorers CF Dustin Jones had two hits in three at-bats with two RBIs and two runs scored. Catcher Tyler Goodro had two hits in four at-bats with an RBI and a run scored and 3B Wally Backman picked up his seventeenth RBI of the season. Sioux City starter David Trahan earned the win and pitched six and one-third innings, striking out five hitters and allowing just one earned run.
