Gary SouthShore 3, Fargo-Moorhead 2- Box Score
The Gary SouthShore Railcats came back to defeat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 3-2 on Thursday.
The Railcats scored in the game's opening frame when Colin Willis batted in Alex Crosby. The RedHawks tied the game in the bottom of the third when Charlie Valerio scored Maikol Gonzalez with a single. Fargo-Moorhead took a 2-1 lead in the sixth when when Randolph Oduber scored via an error on an attempted steal. Gary SouthShore not only answered in the next frame, they took the lead, scoring the first run on a Crosby single and the second on a sacrifice fly by Reggie Wilson to take a 3-2 lead.
Jeremy Holcombe earned the win, after pitching 1.2 innings of scoreless relief. Gabe Perez was awarded the save.
