Texas 4, Fargo-Moorhead 3
Holding off a ninth inning comeback, the Texas AirHogs defeated the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 4-3. Trailing 1-0, the AirHogs scored four runs in the eighth inning, as 2B Brian Bistagne, SS Juan Sanchez and LF Burt Reynolds each hit solo home runs to push Texas ahead. Reliever Carlos Misell earned the win as he didn't allow a run for 1.1 scoreless innings while Alan Oaks received the save. Each team had eight hits, as the RedHawks were led by CF Kes Carter and SS Cory Morales who each went 2-for-4 in the game. Fargo-Moorhead starter Will Mathis had an excellent outing shutting out the AirHogs for 6.1 innings with three strikeouts.
