Amarillo Bulls Alumni Garner Awards

ASTON, Pa. - Six members of the Neumann University men's ice hockey team including two Amarillo Bulls Alumni were named to the ECAC West All-Conference team for the 2014-15 season.

Mike Davis was named Rookie of the Year as well as ECAC West All-Rookie team. Shayne Morrrissey was earned Second Team All-Conference. Chris Bournazos was selected honorable mention.

Dan McDougall was named to First Team All-Conference Defense. Doug Rose was selected Honorable Mention Defense.

Joining Davis on the All-Rookie Team was Rose and Liam Board . Davis played in 24 games. He was second on the team with 10 goals and was tied for second with 17 points. Three of his goals were power play goals and one was a game winner.

McDougall played in 22 games. He had three goals from the blue line and eight assists for 11 points. One of his goals was on the man advantage.

Neumann finished the regular season 13-8-4 overall and 9-5-1 in ECAC West. The Knights are the No. 2 seed in the playoffs and will host an ECAC West semifinal contest on Saturday.

Hockey's back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Mar. 6 and Saturday, Mar. 6 when it's the renewal of an great rivalry as the Bulls host the Topeka RoadRunners. It's Ronald McDonald House Weekend and the Bulls will wear special jerseys with a live auction to follow after Saturday's game. Liberty Tax sponsor's Saturday's game which is also Rampage's Birthday.
