Alumni Update: Matsui Records Hat Trick

Tim Makowski (2016-19) tallied an assist in a 2-0 win against Dartmouth on Feb. 25th.

Kyle Gaffney (2020-22) assisted on a goal in Alaska-Fairbanks' 4-2 win against Arizona State on Feb. 24th.

Payton Matsui (2020-21) scored a hat trick in a 4-2 win against Arizona State. The next night he tallied an assist with the same outcome against the same team.

Nathan Smith (2016-17) scored a goal Tucson Roadrunners' 5-2 win against Abbotsford.

Mack Byers (2019-20) tallied two assists in a 3-1 win against Bemidji State on Feb. 24. The next night he scored a goal in a 2-7 loss against the same team.

Liam Fraser (2020-21) had a hat trick in the first two periods in St. Norbert's 4-3 against the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Feb. 4. He also added an assist for a four-point game.

Colton Fletcher (2016-18) recorded an assist in the Knoxville Ice Bears' 7-3 win against the Macon Mayhem on Feb. 4. He also added a goal in a 5-1 win over the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs on Feb. 10.

Andy Carroll (2016-17) tallied an assist in a 2-1 loss to Bemidji State on Feb. 18th. He then added on another two in a 3-2 win against Michigan Tech on Feb. 25th.

Nathan Burke (2016-18) tallied a goal in a 4-2 loss against Northern Michigan on Feb. 25th.

Connor Beatty (2018-20) scored a goal and added an assist help Endicott beat Western New England 6-2 on Feb. 3. The next night, he scored a goal in a 4-2 win against Wentworth.

Logan Britt (2016-18) tallied an assist in Sacred Heart's 4-1 loss against American International College on Feb. 4. and recorded another assist in a 4-3 loss against Air Force on Feb. 10.

Jake Goldowski (2020-21) recorded an assist in Macon Mayhem's 4-3 loss against the Huntsville Havoc on Feb. 3. He also added a goal and an assist in a 4-3 shootout win against the Birmingham Bulls on Feb. 5.

Hugo Gustafsson (2021-22) tallied two assists for Vimmerby HC last week, brining his total point up to nine on the year.

Henry Welsch (2018-20) made 23 saves in a losing effort to Providence on Feb. 17th.

Thomas Manty (2020-21) has two goals and three assists in six games with Brown University.

Riley Murphy (2016-20) recorded a hat trick for Adrian College in a blowout 8-2 win against Aurora University on Feb 4. With that performance, he earned himself an NCAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week. He then scored a goal in a 6-1 win against St. Norbert on Feb 10.

Cullen Ferguson (2020-21) recorded an assist in Union College's 3-1 win against Yale on Feb. 10.

Clayton Cosentino (2019-21) tallied two assists in a 4-3 loss against American International on Feb 18th.

Stepan Pokorny (2018-19) tallied an assist in Ferris State's 3-2 loss against Lake Superior on Feb 24th.

Adam Pitters (2016-19) assisted on a goal in Bowling Green's 5-2 win against Michigan Tech on Feb. 10.

Cade Neilson (2019-22) tallied four assists for Team Great Britain's in the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge on Feb. 10-12.

Matt Vernon (2018-19) made 26 saves in a 0-0 tie with North Dakota on Feb. 25th.

Zach Aughe (2019-20) tallied an assist in a 3-5 loss against Arizona State on Feb. 18th.

Jonathan Bendorf (2017-19) had three assists in a 7-3 win against Army on Feb. 18th.

Christian Abrams (2019-21) scored a goal in a 3-4 loss against Skidmore College on Fe. 18th.

Seamus Campbell (2020-22) scored two goals in a 4-1 win against the Oil Barons on Feb. 25th.

John Sladic (2017-19) scored a goal in a 4-1 win against Minnesota Duluth on Feb. 25th.

Will Gilson (2021-22) tallied two assists in a 6-2 loss against LIU on Feb. 26th.

Hugo Allais (2021-22) currently has one goal and two assists in 19 games played with the University of Quebec-Trois-Rivières.

Will Arquiett (2020-21) has two goals and two assists in 13 games played so far at St. Lawrence.

Zach Aughe (2019-20) has two goals and and an assist in 21 games played this season at Lindenwood University.

Jake Beaune (2018-20) has a goal and an assist in 26 games in his second season at Mercyhurst University.

Bauer Barry (2021-22) has a goal and six assists in 23 games played at Concordia College.

Brad Belisle (2018-19) has spent the past four seasons at Bemidji State University, where he's appeared in 23 games total, notching two goals and an assist in the process.

Jacob Bossé (2021-22) has one assist in five games with Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Pierson Brandon (2018-20) has two goals and four assists in 24 games played this season with Colgate University. Over three seasons, he's tallied eight goals and 23 assists in 83 games played.

Jakob Breault (2019-20) has ten goals and eleven assists in 21 games played at Utica College this season.

Nico deVita (2019-21) has appeared in six games so far this season at the University of New Hampshire.

Antonio DiPaolo (2019-20) has four assists in 21 games played so far for Univ. of Wisconsin-Superior.

Will Gilson (2021-22) has five goals and five assists in 19 games at the Univ. of Alaska-Anchorage.

Cooper Haar (2019-20) has played 38 total games over three seasons so far at Canasius College, tallying three goals and 12 assists. This season, he has two assists in four games.

Logan Jenuwine (2016-17) spent a year at Arizona State University before transferring to St. Lawrence, where he's appeared in 44 games so far, notching 12 goals and 14 assists with the Lakers.

Jack Kelly (2016-18) is currently in his fourth year at St. Norbert College, where he's appeared in 35 total games. So far this season, he has three assists in 21 games played.

Nick Leitner (2015-16) has four goals and four assists in 16 games played for the SPHL's Pensacola Flyers.

Kevin MacKay (2019-22) has appeared in seven games with Trinity College.

Kyle Mandleur (2018-19) currently has a goal and an assist in eight games played in his first year with Wilkes University.

Joey Molenaar (2017-18) is in his third year with St. Cloud State University, where he has seven goals and eleven assists in 69 total games played, including a goal and five assists this season.

Michael Perrone (2018-19) has six goals and eight assists in 23 games played so far this year at UMass-Dartmouth.

Jordan Randall (2019-21) is in his second season at the Univ. of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he has three goals and three assists in 20 games played so far this year.

Thomas Rocco (2018-19) played three seasons at St. Cloud State before transferring to SUNY-Oswego this year. So far, he has five goals and four assists in 13 games played.

Trevor Russell (2019-21) appeared in 18 games last season at Michigan Tech and 14 so far this season, notching four goals this year.

Max Salpeter (2018-19) is in his second season with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he's recorded three assists in 22 total games played.

Spencer Schneider (2019-21): In two seasons with the Bowling Green Falcons, he has two goals and seven assists in 53 total games, which includes three assists so far this year.

Adam Shuchart (2021-22) has played in seven games with Norwich University.

Jake Sibell (2010-21) had a 1-6-1 record in his first year at Niagara University last season. This year, he's appeared in three games, holding a 1-1 record along with a 3.55 goals-against average and a .857 save percentage.

John Sladic (2017-19) is currently in his fourth season at Miami (Ohio) University, where he's recorded ten goals and eleven assists in 85 career games.

Joey Strada (2016-19) is currently in his third year in the SPHL, where he's played in two games for the Peoria Rivermen.

Matt Vernon (2017-19) is in his fourth year at Colorado College. So far this year, he's appeared in nine games, holding a 2.90 goals-against average and a .895 save percentage.

Natan Vertes (2019-21) appeared in four games for the University of Alaska-Fairbanks last season before returning to Hungary this season to play with Fehérvár AV19 in the ICEHL. He currently has four goals and six assists in 31 games.

Gabe Vinal (2017-18) played for four seasons at Brown University before transferring to Clarkson University this year.

Dalton Weigel (2017-19) is in his fourth year at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he has three assists in 35 total games played.

Jackson Yee (2020-22) has one goal and one assist in 20 games played this season at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
