
Alouettes-Ticats Ready for the Eastern Semi-Final

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes will take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 4 at 3 p.m. ET in the Eastern Semi-Final (RDS, TSN, 98.5fm, TSN 690). Last week, the Alouettes beat Hamilton 22-20.
Montreal has played against Hamilton three times this season and have a perfect record with 38-12, 27-14 and 22-20 wins.
The Alouettes (11-7-0) won their last five games to finish the season.
The Als have played 27 playoff games against the Tiger-Cats and have a record of ten wins and 17 losses. In the Eastern Semi-Final, they are 4-7 lifetime against the Ticats.
Cody Fajardo will be the starting quarterback. He saw a bit of action last week in preparation for the playoffs. Offensive lineman Sean Jamieson will be in uniform for the first time this season as he dealt with a knee injury and had a surgery during the off-season. Defensive tackle Almondo Sewell is back in the lineup. The veteran has one sack, 14 defensive tackles and a knockdown this season. His physical presence does not go unnoticed on the field.
With a win, the Alouettes would advance to the Eastern Final on Saturday, November 11 at 3 p.m., ET against the Toronto Argonauts at the BMO Field.
