
Alouettes Sign Israel Antwine

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that the club has signed Americain defensive tackle Israel Antwine.
Antwine (6'4", 295 lbs.) played three seasons with the Oklahoma State University Cowboys. In 34 games, he accumulated 29 defensives tackles and assisted on 36 more. He also forced a fumble and recovered one. He played for the University of Colorado Buffaloes during his freshman year.
In 2019, the 22-year-old received an Honorable Mention on the All-Big 12 (Coaches) team. In 2020 he was voted on the First Team Academic All-Big 12. The Oklahoma, OK native made the Second Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2021. He spent some time with the Jacksonville Jaguars organization last year.
