
Alouettes place Brandon Whitaker on nine-game injured list

Montreal, September 9, 2013 - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Monday that running back Brandon Whitaker was placed on the nine-game injured list for precautionary reasons prior to yesterday's game due to a hamstring injury.
Every CFL team has two opportunities per season to remove a player from the nine-game injured list, and doing so remains an option for the Alouettes and Whitaker, depending on his recovery process.
