March 2, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Montreal Royal News Release
Montreal, Canada. Former NFL star and now defensive back of the Montreal Alouettes, Ricky Bell, will serve as the 13th man Saturday night when the ABA Montreal Matrix face the Newark Express in game at the Pierre-Charbonneaux Center in Montreal. Bell, who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Chicago Bears, starred for North Carolina State prior to turning professional.
"I'm really looking forward to this," said Bell. "Hopefully, I can add a couple of three pointers to my stats to go along with tackles and interceptions."
