ABA Player of the Year to be discussed

March 2, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


Los Angeles, CA. Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced that this week's program will focus on the 2006 ABA Player of the Year Award. Nominations will be restricted to players that have previously won ABA Player of the Week Awards. There will also be some discussion about the 2006 ABA Championship Playoffs - The Great Eight - to be played at The Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY from March 22-26 as well as the regular Ask the CEO segment with ABA CEO Joe Newman. ABALIVETALK airs each Saturday at 3pm EST.

Pearson will provide a weekly update on Morgan Davies, a race car driver in the ARCA Re/Max Series showcasing his 2006 campaign and his involvement with the ABA.

ABALIVETALK will feature a new EMAIL OF THE WEEK segment that will allow fans, owners, players, media and others to email the show and have the email read on the air.
