Alouettes Beat the Stampeders 25-18

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes won 25-18 over the Calgary Stampeders in front of 18,098 fans at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. Despite a weather delay that interrupted the game, fans stayed until the end to see Jason Maas' squad end a three-game losing streak.

- The Alouettes scored points on their first three offensive possessions (two field goals and a single) in addition to scoring a touchdown on a 53-yard interception by Kabion Ento. That was his first career CFL interception.

- David Côté registetred six field goals in the game to tie his own record.

"Offensively we need to get better when we get down (into the red zone). We are doing a great job driving the ball, but we need to work to finish with touchdowns." - Quarterback Cody Fajardo

"Our defence has done a very good job all year long, especially in the early portion of the season. Again, tonight, they played an excellent game. On the last Calgary drive, they managed to neutralize their offense." - Centre Justin Lawrence

The Alouettes will play their next game on Saturday, August 5 at 7 p.m. ET against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons Field.
