The Montreal Alouettes will host the Eastern Semi-Final against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Olympic Stadium on November 13 at 1:00 p.m.

After finishing the 2011 season in second place in the East Division with a 10-8 record, Marc Trestman's squad will begin its quest for a third-consecutive Grey Cup title. With a win at Olympic Stadium, the Alouettes would advance to the Eastern Final in Winnipeg the following Sunday.

The Alouettes split their regular-season series against the Tiger-Cats with each team winning twice at home.

Since returning to Montreal in 1996, the Alouettes are undefeated (5-0) when playing the Eastern Semi-Final at Olympic Stadium. Moreover, the last time the Alouettes hosted the Eastern Semi-Final in 2005, the team made it to the Grey Cup Game which was also played in Vancouver.

In 2011, the Alouettes boasted the league's leading passer (Anthony Calvillo), leading rusher (Brandon Whitaker) and leading receiver (Jamel Richardson) in their lineup.
