Indiana AlleyCats News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Pit Bull Power Rankings and once again, the league's top team is the Indiana Alley Cats headed by ABA All-Star coach Greg Graham. According to Joe Newman, "Thus far, Indiana has been able to hold the top spot every week since the ranking began - but I know that several teams are eager to play them - and feel that they are very competitive. The next few weeks should be very interesting. The Alley Cats are very strong. But there are a lot of very good ABA teams - and this week's ABA All Star game showed how wide the talent is disbursed around the league. The rankings are very important for the league championship playoffs - so you can bet every game will be hotly contested." The rankings:

1. Indiana Alley Cats 2. Rochester RazorSharks 3. Southern California Legends 4. Gallup Talons 5. San Jose Skyrockets 6. Maryland Nighthawks 7. Florida Pit Bulls 8. Pittsburgh Xplosion 9. Harlem Strong Dogs 10. Toledo Ice 11. Atlanta Vision 12. Bellingham Slam 13. Beijing Aoshen Olympian from Maywood 14. Newark Express 15. Montreal Matrix 16. Strong Island Sound

Newman added, "Using our formula for games played, close games, and other factors, Los Angeles, Orange County, Tijuana, Tacoma and Buffalo could very well break into the Top 16 this week - and they are also headed towards the 24 team playoff round. It will be exciting." For more information, visit www.abalive.com.
