Alley Cats' Fountain Named CBA Newcomer of the Year

Albany, NY (March 31, 2007) - The Continental Basketball Association announced yesterday that Indiana Alley Cats guard Shaun Fountain was named the CBA Newcomer of the Year.
Fountain was the Alley Cats backbone this season. He played in 47 of 48 eight games and led the league in scoring with 23 points per game. His 2.5 steals also were tops in the league. He was second in the league with 5.9 assists per game. He was named the CBA Player of the Week on March 5th. Shaun was one of four all-star representatives for the Alley Cats.
According to the CBA, the Newcomer of the Year award is given to an exemplary first-year CBA player with prior professional experience.
