Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, off to a 2-0 start, play two road games this weekend against their Metroplex rivals the Fort Worth Brahmas, Friday and Saturday at the NYTEX Sports Centre in Tarrant County.

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans began their fourth season in style on Saturday night, shutting out the Arizona Sundogs by a score of 4-0. Scotty Howes scored two goals and Steve Silverthorn made 30 saves in the victory. Arizona outshot the Americans, 30-16.

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans improved to 2-0-0 on the season on Sunday afternoon at Allen Event Center, and they had to work overtime to do it. The Americans edged the Arizona Sundogs 4-3, by virtue of winning the shootout after the two teams could not decide things through regulation and the 5-minute overtime.
