Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans split the four-game week-long series with the Tulsa Oilers, winning both games on their home ice and bringing to close seven straight games against the ECHL Central Division. The Americans welcome the Utah Grizzlies to the Allen Event Center on Friday night, and then the Wichita Thunder comes to Allen on Saturday.

Tuesday, January 26th @ Tulsa - 2-0 Loss
Tulsa, Oklahoma- The Allen Americans were shutout for the second time this season, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Tulsa Oilers on Tuesday night at BOK Center. Oilers netminder Kevin Carr stopped all 25 shots he faced to pick up the shutout.
Friday, January 29th vs. Tulsa - 7-1 Win
Allen, Texas - Greger Hanson scored two goals, while Chad Costello added a goal and two helpers as the Allen Americans blew out the Tulsa Oilers 7-1 on Friday night in Allen, to even the week-long series at 1-1. Twelve players for Allen recorded at least one point in the victory.
Saturday, January 30th @ Tulsa - 5-2 Loss
Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Americans rallied back in the third period to close the Oilers lead to 3-2 on goals by Chad Costello and Gary Steffes, however Tulsa would respond with two more of their own to defeat the Americans 5-2 on Saturday night at the BOK Center.
Sunday, January 31st vs. Tulsa - 2-1 Win
Allen, Texas- The Americans scored two times in the opening period on goals by Chris Crane and Nolan Descoteaux and then held on for a 2-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Allen Event Center. Americans rookie netminder Peter DiSalvo stopped 20 of 21 Tulsa shots to pick up his first win in an Americans sweater.
