All Star Tickets Currently on Sale

WILSON, N.C - The Wilson Tobs announced today that tickets for the 2012 Coastal Plain League All Star Game and Fan Fest which will be held July 22 and 23 at Historic Fleming Stadium in Wilson are currently on sale.

Fan Fest will take place on Sunday, July 22 and feature the 2012 Home Run Derby along with a postgame concert by Spare Change. Tickets for the event and concert will by $6 for adults, $4 for children ages six to 12 while kids five and under are free.

Also, tickets for the All Star Game which will take place at 7:00 on Monday, July 23 are as follows: $7 for box seats, $6 for general admission seats. Additionally, children ages 6 to 12 are $4 while kids five and under are free.

The Tobs are also offering a special family ticket package for both events where you can purchase two adult and two children tickets for $20 or two adult tickets and three children tickets for $25.

Another ticket deal that the Tobs are offering is $10 for a general admission ticket to both the Fan Fest and the All Star Game or $11 for a ticket to the Fan Fest and a box seat to the All Star Game.

"This is a great opportunity for the Wilson community to showcase itself and its rich baseball history to many spectators from all over North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.  The Tobs hope to see the support of the Wilson community through purchasing tickets to attend the All Star Fan Fest and All Star Game." Wilson General Manger Thomas Webb said.

The Wilson Tobs are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 16th season in 2012, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both the players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 1,000 alumni drafted and 52 alums - including 2011 AL MVP and CY Young winner Justin Verlander - make their Major League debut thus far.
