All-Star Beaton back with Eskimos

Edmonton, AB – The Edmonton Eskimos announced today that perennial All-Star lineman Bruce Beaton has agreed to a new contract. In keeping with club policy, terms of the contract have not been released.

Long considered one of the CFL's best offensive linemen, Beaton was the 2002 West Division finalist for CFL Outstanding Lineman, as well as a CFL West All-Star for the third consecutive season. The native of Port Hood, Nova Scotia is entering his 11th CFL season; sixth with the Eskimos.

"Bruce is a highly motivated player who leads by example and he raises the level of play of his teammates," said Eskimo Head Coach Tom Higgins.
