JACKSONVILLE - The 2019 National Arena League champion Jacksonville Sharks have announced today the signing of Defensive Back Dallas Jackson (5'10, 190. This will be Jackson's third season in the national arena league and second season with the Jacksonville Sharks.

Jackson spent his 2019 season playing for the Orlando Predators where he earned Second Team All-NAL honors totaling 38 tackles, 19 pass breakups, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Although the Predators struggled, Jackson had a career season becoming the only 2019 Orlando Predator to earn All-NAL accolades. In 2018, Jackson played for the Jacksonville Sharks where he recorded 29 tackles, seven pass breakups, and four interceptions. In 2018, Jackson also signed with the Florida Tarpons of the American Arena League and the Washington Valor of the Arena Football League. He began his pro career with the Tampa Bay Storm from 2016-2017, where he racked up 11 tackles and one pass break up.

Jackson spent his college career with Jacksonville University. During his days as a dolphin, he played in both the secondary and on special teams as a punt returner. During his junior year, he earned All-Conference honors and tied the school's single-season record of interceptions with five. Jackson is a native to Bradenton, FL, where he attended Palmetto Highschool. He lettered all four years in football and recorded 42 tackles and seven interceptions his senior year. He also played basketball and ran track.
