Peoria Rivermen News Release
All 72 Peoria Rivermen hockey games this upcoming season will be broadcast LIVE. There will be no more tape delays and no more interruptions as the team's games will broadcast LIVE over Insight Cable.
Broadcaster Norm Ulrich returns for his 7th ECHL campaign bringing all of the play-by-play. This new broadcasting venue will expand the coverage of the Peoria Rivermen to include over 115,000 households. Cities that could not listen to Rivermen games before will now be on board including Bloomington and Normal.
There will be no video broadcast of the games, only audio. This will free up the fan's usage of their telephone to get the broadcast over the Internet.
In Peoria the games will be broadcast on Cable Channel 44, in the Bloomington/Normal are the games will be broadcast on Cable Channel 10 and in Tazewell County (Pekin, Washington and Morton) the games will be broadcast over Cable Channel 2. This is such a unique opportunity for Rivermen fans and for companies wanting a unique form of advertisement.
There will be 15 and 30-second photo commercials running throughout the broadcast of all 72 Peoria Rivermen games. Each game will be followed by the Coach's show with Rivermen Head Coach Jason Christie.
