
Albany FireWolves Re-Sign Mike Byrne for 2022-23 Season

ALBANY, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announce that defenseman Mike Byrne has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the FireWolves through the 2022-23 season. Byrne enters his fourth year in the NLL, all within the organization after playing two seasons with the New England Black Wolves and the inaugural season with the FireWolves.
In 15 regular season games last year, Byrne was fourth on the FireWolves with 14 caused turnovers. The defenseman also scooped up 68 loose balls and chipped in four total points on three assists and one goal. Byrne added four loose ball recoveries in the FireWolves' lone playoff game.
