
Alaska's Later Suspended One Game

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has suspended
Alaska defenseman Steven Later for one game as a result of his actions in
ECHL Preseason Game #1 against Toledo on Oct. 10.
Later was assessed an instigator penalty at 16:30 of the third period.
Under ECHL Playing Rules, any player deemed to be the instigator or
aggressor of fisticuffs during the last five minutes of the game or at
anytime during overtime shall be automatically suspended from his team's
next game.
Later will miss Alaska's game against Toledo (Oct. 11).
