Akim Aliu Reassigned to Abbotsford

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced that forward Akim Aliu has been reassigned to the Heat from St. John's (AHL).

The Heat returns to action at the AESC tomorrow and Friday against division rivals, the Texas Stars (Dallas Stars) with puck drop at 7:00PM both nights.

Tomorrow's game features a re-gift your gift promotion because it's better to give AND receive! Fans are encouraged to bring in a new unwrapped gift that they received over the holidays that they think is better going to a family in need. The gift will be donated to the Salvation Army Community Ministries (Abbotsford, Mission) and in return fans will receive a free ticket voucher to the January 21st game vs the Charlotte Checkers!
