
Ak-Sar-Ben Knights To Hold NHL Draft Day Party At Dave And Busters

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights and their fans will be getting a look into the future when they host a National Hockey League Entry Draft party on Saturday, June 24th. The party will be held at Dave and Buster's at 132nd Street and West Center Road in Omaha beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Everyone in attendance will be eligible to win door prizes including Knights' and Calgary Flames' team merchandise. Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' season ticket holders are encouraged to bring guests. The more guests they bring, the greater their chances of winning a separate drawing for an Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' jersey autographed by Mr. Hockey ®, Gordie Howe ®. Each attendee will receive a complimentary $5 Power Card from Dave and Buster's. Molson will provide beer specials and giveaway items during the event. The 2006 Entry Draft will be carried live on OLN (Cox Cable Channel 231) beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT and will be shown at Dave and Buster's on their big screen TVs.
As the top development team for the Flames, the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights have a roster built with Calgary's draft picks. Twelve Flames' draft choices played for the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during their inaugural season including first round picks Brent Krahn and Eric Nystrom. Draft choices Adam Cracknell, Aki Seitsonen, David Van Der Gulik and first rounder Kris Chucko were recently signed to professional contracts by the Flames and could play in Omaha during the 2006-2007 season. The Flames will select with either the 23rd or the 24th pick in the first round of the draft depending on the outcome of the Stanley Cup Final.
Season tickets and 22-Game Mini Plans for the 2006-2007 season are on sale now. Season tickets start as low as $10 per seat per game.
