Ak-Sar-Ben Knight announce speakers bureau

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today the formation of the Knights Speakers Bureau. The Bureau provides speakers to local businesses, civic and church groups and other interested organizations holding weekly or monthly meetings and special events. The program is part of the Knights continuing outreach program in the greater Omaha area.

Members of the Knights' front office and coaching staff including President Doug Soetaert, head coach Ryan McGill, assistant coach Scott Allen, play-by-play voice Dave Ahlers and Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brad Haynes will be available to speak about the team, its on-going business and community efforts and the business of professional hockey. Message content is flexible and may also be tailored to fit the needs of the organization.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights begin their inaugural season in the American Hockey League on October 7th when they host the defending Western Conference Champions, the Chicago Wolves, at 7:00 p.m. at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The 2005-2006 season marks the 70th anniversary of the American Hockey League. The AHL continues to serve as the top developmental league for all 30 National Hockey League teams.
