AirHogs games return to Ustream; Time Warner to air selected contests

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- For the second year in a row, the Grand Prairie AirHogs have partnered with Time Warner Cable to air 11 home games on the Texas Channel, including the home opener at QuikTrip Park on May 21 at 7:05 p.m.

Also, fans can catch every Grand Prairie AirHogs game, home and away, live for free on Ustream.tv, with Josh Hirsch returning for another year behind the mic, joined in 2012 by Boomer West for home games.

Games on the Texas Channel will be called by veteran announcer John Nelson, joined by the AirHogs' David Hatchett. The Texas Channel is on Time Warner channel 185 in North Texas, and appears on TWC systems in Austin, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Waco, Wichita Falls and other locations in Texas on channel 888.

In addition to the home opener, TWC will broadcast the games on five Fridays live - May 25, July 6, July 20, August 3 and August 17, and will show the games of Wednesday, May 23, Wednesday, June 13, Saturday, July 21, Saturday, August 4 and Saturday, August 18 on tape delay. Check your local listings for the exact date and time.

The 2011 American Association Champion Grand Prairie AirHogs begin the defense of their title on Thursday, May 17, against the Laredo Lemurs at 7:30 p.m. The 2012 home opener is Monday, May 21, at 7:05 p.m. against the El Paso Diablos.
