AirHogs Fall in Series Opener 6-5 Against Lemurs

The AirHogs found themselves in a hole early in the series opener against Laredo but fought hard to keep it close with a final score of 6-5 Lemurs. This is the fourth straight loss for the AirHogs. Down 5-2 in the top of the ninth the AirHogs started a rally that gave them their first lead of the day. Juan Richardson hit his second home run of the year driving in two. This brought the score to 5-4 Lemurs. Later in the same half inning Angel Flores hit his first home run of the year to tie up the game.

In the bottom of the ninth Laredo scored to win 6-5. The run was unearned on an error by Juan Richardson. This gave David Quinowski for his first loss of the year. James Adkins got the start and left with a no decision. He gave up four earned runs including a home run to John Allen.

The Lemurs and AirHogs return to Uni-Trade Stadium tomorrow night at 7:30 P.M.
