Aigles Pull away from Boulders
The Rockland Boulders fell to the Trois-Rivieres Aigles 11-5 on Saturday afternoon. The game was tied 3-3 in the sixth inning, but the Aigles scored eight runs the rest of the way to secure the win. Tommy Shirley allowed five runs in 5.1 innings to take the loss for Rockland.
Offensively, the Boulders saw John Brontsema lead the way with three hits while getting two hits a piece from Blake Grant-Parks, Senoo Katsuya, Matt Oberste, and Collin Ferguson. Michael Suchy paced the Aigles' attack by going 2 for 4 with a three run homer.
The two teams will wrap up their four game set tomorrow afternoon. First pitch for the contest is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at Stade Stereo Plus.
