Houston finished a five-game road trip with wins in Cleveland and Grand Rapids this week, improving to 7-0-0-0 overall on the season. Travis Roche scored with 2:02 left in regulation for a 3-2 win over the Barons on Wednesday, and Hnat Domenichelli found the net twice in 62 seconds during the third period on Thursday to lift the Aeros to a 4-2 win over the Griffins. Jean-Guy Trudel has 10 points, one off the league lead, while Cory Larose's eight assists are tied for the most in the AHL this season. The two Houston wins dropped Central Division teams to a combined 0-9-2-1 at home on the year.

Hamilton visits Harbour Station for a pair of games against the Flames, tonight (7:30 AT, 6:30 ET) and Saturday (7:00/6:00). Saint John is 15-1-1 in its last 17 meetings with the Bulldogs, and is continuing its 10-game season-opening homestand after a pair of wins over Manitoba last weekend. Hamilton enters play with a share of the Canadian Division lead, with Ty Conklin, Eric Fichaud and Mathieu Garon combining to allow just nine goals in the Bulldogs' first five games.
South Division-leading Norfolk takes a tour of the Keystone State with stops in Philadelphia tonight (7:05 ET), Wilkes-Barre on Saturday (7:05) and Hershey on Sunday (6:00). The Admirals' Peter White has scored four goals this season (all on the power play), tying him with Mike Peluso for the team lead. Norfolk went 17-11-2 against their division rivals en route to a first-place finish in 2001-02.
Providence and Worcester renew their rivalry with two games this weekend, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center tonight (7:05 ET) and at the Centrum Centre on Sunday (4:05), with the all-time series even at 38-38-8 in the clubs' 84 regular-season meetings since 1994. Rookie John Pohl, the NCAA's leading scorer at Minnesota last season, shares the IceCats team lead with three goals and five points through four games, while 2002 AHL All-Star Matt Herr has four goals for the Bruins, including three game-winning tallies.
San Antonio finishes its season-opening five-game road trip in Houston on Saturday (7:30 CT), with the first of 12 meetings on the year against their in-state rivals. To cool the red-hot Aeros, the Rampage will need to improve their league-worst 4.75 goals per game and 71.4 percent penalty kill efficiency. Jeff Toms leads San Antonio's offense with five assists and six points.
